Tim Storey has memories not just photos!

I read Tim Storey’s blog post from last week and I like what he’s saying (read it <http://www.getstorey.com>here). He talks about living in the present and not letting life pass you by. Sometimes I feel like my cell phone is a leash but I hate ignoring it. I’m going to make sure I don’t let it distract me too much. I want memories and not just photos!

Tim Storey talks a lot about “darkest before the dawn” type stuff. I totally agree—things always get hard when something good is about to happen. The problem is you never know HOW hard things are going to get before they get better. I guess that’s where the faith part comes in. Tim Storey was talking on his blog today about why people always plan and never do anything. He says people make plans and then get distracted as soon as they finish planning. So how do you stay up in such a busy world and still focus enough to remember everything? I sure don’t do a very good job; if I don’t have a note stapled to my head, I forget everything. I’ve been thinking about one of Tim’s quotes from the other day. It talks about how we all have problems and that the important thing is making sure we help people with their problems, especially when everything is good for us. That is so important! I like what Tim says on the life coaching page of his web site. He says life is fluid and that the key to everything is learning to use changes as opportunities for learning and growth. I’d never really thought about that seriously, but now I think I could.

Tim Storey says Comeback!

Tim is so positive and optimistic. Even when there’s a lot of problems, he says you can never give up because your comeback will always come. That’s something I need to believe in, especially these days and I think everyone needs to too.

I saw a video of Tim talking to Dog the Bounty Hunter about some problem he was having. It didn’t mention what the problem was, but I liked how it showed Tim doing his thing. He wasn’t pushy or anything, just interested and concerned about his friend. I can totally respect that. He does good work.

Who is Tim Storey?

I went to a youth service last night and it was the weirdest thing! It was this guy named Tim Storey. Apparently he’s some big name guy in Hollywood or something. I never heard of him but it was cool because he turned out to be totally awesome. It felt like he was reading my mind or something talking about how everyone has opportunities and stuff. He really talked to me which is weird because I never thought I had problems like that. He told us that if we’re not doing what makes us happy we’re only living halfway and that we can have a better life. He handed out a bunch of fliers about that. I haven’t read it yet but I’m going to.
